The Ionic-100/OD is a passive column speaker part of the Ionic series. The Ionic columns are compact, modular and powerful and the complete series includes two columns & two subwoofers. The Ionic-100 uses 12 x 3″ (0.75″ voice coil) neodymium transducers offering a coverage of 15º +/-5º V x 100º H and 121dB SPL.

Weight has been left as low as possible providing easy set ups in fixed installation as well as easy transport for portable applications.

The Ionic-100/OD is the ideal column speaker for outdoor installations. The cabinets receive the following treatment so that they can be installed in outside locations: micro perforated aluminium grill with special polyester protection against water, tropicalized speaker treatment with special latex covering and double cabinet sealing.

The Ionic-100/OD is powered from the subwoofer units which include a Digital Signal Processor offering different presets to cover a wide range of sound applications.

Although this cabinet can be used without a processor, the best performance is achieved when using our presets, optimised for LUKA processors and GTX amplifiers. Please note that using the cabinet without our recommended processors or amplifiers may affect the product warranty.

Column Performance: High-performance passive column system delivering 450W AES (900W Program / 1800W Peak).
Transducer Configuration: Features sixteen 3″ neodymium transducers (0.75″ voice coil), optimized for clear and detailed vocal reproduction.
Acoustic Quality: 121 dB Max SPL (127 dB peak) with a frequency range from 120 Hz to 20 KHz.
Controlled Coverage: Provides a 100º horizontal coverage and a narrow 15º vertical coverage, minimizing reflections from ceilings and floors.
Outdoor Protection: Outdoor (OD) version certified for extreme weather conditions, including a stainless steel grille and weather-resistant components.
Construction and Finish: Built from 15 mm marine birch plywood finished in high-resistance polyurea coating with specific mounting hardware.

Hardware for Ionic 100/OD

Enclosure

The column enclosure is constructed from 1.5mm stainless steel plate and finished with high resistant epoxy paint. Double cabin

Internal design

The steel structure of the column is welded and perfectly sealed with a polymer coating forming an air-tight housing. All parts are assembled on metal inserts with metric screws. Tropicalized speaker treatment with special latex covering.

Rear panel

A compact rear panel contains the input and link connectors.

Grill

Micro perforated aluminium grill with special polyester protection against water.

Rigging

Integrated reinforcement plates are located inside the column so different installation accessories can be mounted using the external installation kit fixing points.

Transport

A durable flight case is available to transport two Ionic-100/OD including cables and hardware.
