The GXR-D18P is a high-performance, omnidirectional subwoofer. It features two 18‘ drivers (4’ voice coil).

GXR-D18P subwoofers are specifically designed to be stacked and are very easy to use.

Depending on the configuration, the system is amplified with the GTX series, high-power 4-channel amplifiers designed for the strict requirements of live performances and touring. These amplifiers are equipped with a high-quality FIR-DSP, with high-performance 96 kHz DSP processing and a large IPS display with a touch panel for the user interface.

The design has been implemented with Power Control Management to configure via the DSP how to share power between channels according to user needs, with the possibility of obtaining maximum power in a single channel. Optional AES67 and AES3 Digital Networking inputs are available for GTX amplifiers.

Enclosure

The GXR-D18P cabinet is constructed from 13-ply premium birch plywood (18mm thickness) and finished with polyurea coating.

Internal design

The internal structure of the GXR-D18P is heavily braced for greater longevity and all parts are assembled on metal inserts with metric screws.

Grill

The cabinet has a heavy duty, powder coated front grille with a special acoustic rear fabric to protect the transducers against dust and dirt.

Handles

Four handles are located on each side of the enclosure to facilitate transport, positioning and loading of the cabinets.

Rigging

Built-in flying points are located on each side of the enclosure to link the cabinets together or fix it to the flying frame.

Transport

The cabinet is easy to transport thanks to its dedicated dolly and a protective nylon cover is also available to protect the enclosure and keep it clean on tour.
